Laguna Beach Hunger Bowl

2nd Annual National Hunger & Homeless Awareness Week & Food Drive
November 1-7, 2010
The City-Wide food drive to benefit the Laguna Relief and Resource Center started in early October. Our Goal for the food drive is to collect 50,000 lbs of food for the people in need in the community. The food drive is coordinated by the City of Laguna Beach Housing and Human Services Committee and Waste Management of Orange County. Look for collection bins at local schools, shops, business offices and churches. For information about the food drive email LB.Volunteer@cox.net .

Food drive items most needed: OCTA Bus Passes, $5. Starbuck cards, small toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, razors,shaving cream soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, laundry soap, dish washing soap, kitchen cleaners, toilet paper, paper towels, plastic dinner plates, cereal bowls and utensils, men’s/women’s white socks, jeans and underwear, backpacks.
